About
Hi there!
I’m Natalia Gemperli, half Brazilian, half Swiss. I lived in Zurich from 2007 to 2011 and just moved back to my favorite city in the whole world: Rio de Janeiro! I’m a BA in Fashion (Universidade Veiga de Almeida – Rio de Janeiro) and a MA in Design/Trends (University of the Arts Zurich). Currently I work as Trend Researcher, Fashion Forecaster and Marketing Analyst for a Brazilian fashion retailer.
On my first 1,5 year in Switzerland, I worked as an Au Pair for the most brilliant family, with the most adorable, amazing kids. In this period of my life, I learned a lot about kids day-by-day. And, of course because of my fashion background, I was amazed by the relationship kids have with their clothes. Besides, I also realised the importance of the functionality of clothes for children. If they don’t fit perfectly, or if a tiny bit of fabric scratches their skin, they won’t wear it. Clothes for kids have to be, above all, comfortable!
It is also very important that children can interact with their clothes. They have to have nice colors, prints and details that make getting dressed fun.
All this inspired me and here I am to share with you some Kidswear (and more!) experience.
The blog is changing right now – I used to keep the readers informed about the Swiss market with some pinches of international and Brazilian news. As I’m an ocean away from Europe now, news will come from all over the globe, with emphasis on the Brazilian and Swiss market.
Fashion, Books, Interior Design and Toys are some of the many subjects you’ll find here.
It’s samba time!!!
Welcome!
