Franz Carl Weber Toy Museum
Last Friday I visited the charming Zürich’s Toy Museum. It is a collection of wooden toys, miniatures, old games, children’s books, cooking stoves, dolls and more, dating from 18th to mid 20th Century. The Museum consists in 2 floors: on the first one, you can find the permanent exhibition; on the second one, seasonal special exhibitions take place.
The Museum is a private collection that still belongs to Franz Carl Weber‘s family: he was himself actively involved in the survival of these rarities. Nowadays, his Granddaughter takes care of his legacy.
