Ladybug’s Bookshelf App

With the e-books boom, kids wouldn’t have been left behind! This nice application for Iphone is really educational and fun! When you download it, you get for free “Three O’Clock on the Farm”, an interactive book with sounds and animation (everything optional). Besides, after reading the book, you (or you kids, hehe) may play a game based on the story. What I like about it is that you can always buy new books, so your kids will frequently have something new to read (of course kids just love reading the same book 1000 times, but still….). Ladybug’s Bookshelf is designed for kids between 2-6 years old. I like it!

Book Tip: Omis Handtasche

Yesterday I was walking around the city and came across this interesting book. It’s called “Omis Handtasche: Ein Buch für Kinder und Grossmütter” (Grandma’s Handbag: A book for children and Grandmothers”). What I like about it is that the book is full of little bits and pieces to be discovered (proper Grandma’s bag…), perfect for curious children. If you have one of those at home, go for it! It may also be a very nice present.

Book Tip: Kids Fashion Designers

I really recommend this book if you’d like to get an overview of kids fashion designers around the world. “Kids Fashion Designers” (Ed. daab) is a compilation of “independent children’s fashion designers who have good taste and a great willingness to experiment with style, and who never lose sight of their target audience.” A must have for Kidswear fans!
